The Kew congregation have asked if we can bring some “sweet” items…cake, slice, biscuits etc.Kew Uniting Church is at 23 Highbury Gve. Parking can be a bit ‘tight’ around the area.

DURING THE WEEK

Tues, Wed – Playgroup 10-11.30 am (enquiries to Sonali).

MESSAGE FROM OUR MINISTER, KILI MAFAUFAU

Kili plans to do regular visitations on the 3rd week of every month and would appreciate it if people could let him know what days would suit them, and if they would like a visit, or would prefer no visit at this time. Kili will try to do his visitations on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays of the 3rd week.Of course, Kili can be contacted at any time (see below) if you need to discuss any pastoral matters, outside of these suggested times.

TIME FOR TEA ON TUESDAYS?

A regular ‘morning tea’ on Tuesday mornings is starting this week, as well as coffee, cake and a bit of company. Hosted by Kili and Una Mafaufau, this will be the chance for a bit of a chat, an occasional study group, an opportunity for members of the congregation and people in the neighbourhood to get together.

GAMES NIGHTS

We had our firsta ‘Pizza and Games’ night this week, for some of the international students in our area, and any others interested. Kili Mafaufau, Geoff Schoenberg, and David Shaw will be involved with this. Last Thursday night there were a total of 9 people gathered in the Dunbar room for a meal, and a few games. The Sri Lankan students from 55 Grove Rd were able to join a few members of the congregation. We will meet again next month, and will advertise the date and time in a later newsletter.
